Mobile App Revival
The Kotlin Android app was scaffolded early and then parked while the Laravel backend took priority. With the backend stable and production-tested, mobile development resumes. The goal is a native app that uses the existing Laravel API for all data — meaning most backend work is already done.
Expanded Monster Roster
The Python sprite automation script was built precisely for this moment. Adding new monsters, evolutions, and ability sets is now a streamlined process rather than a manual grind. Expect the roster to grow significantly.
Guild System
Multiplayer games thrive on community. A guild system would allow players to form teams, share resources, and compete in group leaderboards — adding a social layer that deepens long-term engagement.
Seasonal Events & Limited Content
Time-limited events, special monsters, and holiday-themed items create urgency and give returning players a reason to log back in. This is a proven retention mechanic in live service games.
Deeper Story Content
The story system is in place but lightly populated. Fleshing out the narrative — with branching outcomes tied to player choices and monster evolutions — is a priority for making the world feel alive.
Performance & Observability
As the player base grows, so does the need for monitoring. Planned improvements include query optimization, caching layers, and logging infrastructure to catch issues before players do.
