Custom Page Builder
Originally, pages were built in Elementor but multiple plugins slowed load speed and created visual inconsistencies. We replaced it with a custom page builder built directly into the theme. The Problem with Elementor: Pages were originally designed using Elementor and a collection of add-on plugins. Over time this created two clear problems: page load speeds increased as more plugins were added, and visual inconsistencies appeared as each plugin brought its own styles and markup.

The Solution
Built a Custom Page Builder We developed a custom page builder using the WordPress classic editor. Page components text blocks, accordions, card grids, and more were designed once and reused consistently across the site.
Unified Style and Structure All page components now live under the same style system. Editors work with the same building blocks on every page, which keeps layouts coherent without extra effort.
Faster Pages, Easier Editing Removing Elementor and its dependencies reduced page weight significantly. The editor workflow also became more straightforward editors add components rather than wrestling with a drag-and-drop canvas.
The Result:
Editors gained more direct control over page structure while the site became faster and more consistent. The custom builder became the foundation for all content pages going forward.
